Kings Energy Services is currently seeking an experienced Shipper/Receiver to work in our Red Deer branch.

Role Responsibilities
-
Take Direction and fulfill responsibilities from Team Lead – Purchasing and Inventory or Branch Manager depending on the branch.

Record and enter data of incoming customer equipment repairs and product drop offs, pickups, and deliveries into the ERP systems.

Ensure the accurate and timely shipping and receiving of products to all customers.

Communicate and liaison with both internal and external customers, providing superior customer service.

Customer service counter for pick up and drop off customer property
-
Plan, organize, and schedule daily and weekly inbound or outbound freight.

Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
-
Receive, sort, stage and verify all materials ordered by purchasing for inventory, service repair work and/or manufacturing.

Load and unload trucks

Initiate Non Conformance reports where received or shipped products or services do not meet Purchase Orders, Contracts or Work Order requirements.
Role Requirements

Strong computer skills; MS office suite

Accuracy of data entry and documentation

Ability to multitask while still meeting deadlines

Excellent customer service skills and maintain good vendor relationships. Must provide a quality service to both internal and external customers.

Demonstrated understanding of QHSE Procedures that relate to the Supply Chain department functions.

Strong quantitative and analytical skills.

Ability to work as a positive contributing member within a team environment.

Willingness to take a hands-on approach in developing systems and procedures.

Previous Shipping and Receiving experience is an asset.

Problem-solving and organizational skills.

Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Valid Class 5 Driver’s License.

Forklift certified an asset.
-
Current TDG Certificate required.
-
Experience in service writing and product inventory are definite assets.
-
Experience with international shipping and receiving is also an asset.
